Clean and gorgeous place, has exceptional views to the garden and all the birds. Our hotel is set in a remote location close enough to Sigiriya Cave temple and Lakman, a lovely garden with birds, and Sri Lanka and the lifestyle of the island.

The hotel was fairly clean and staff were all flexible. Very good value for money for this area, had an unforgettable stay for three nights. The double room was functional, the bed was comfy. A good choice of food for breakfast, everything was amazing.

The room was brand-new, good-sized and had a dining area, climate control and a balcony. The view of the great sunrise was magnificent, truly enjoyed it. Location: the hotel was just off a nice garden and a nice porch to relax, a large lagoon with lots of bird life and birds the owner Lakmal:)))

Feeling like at home in a peaceful green garden. Our comfy bungalow had a nice terrace looking over the beautiful surroundings. The young host, Lakmal, made us feel very welcome and organized a great safari for us. I highly recommend Liyon Rest!

This hotel is in a strategic place to reach all the most important places in Sigiriya and not so far from Anuradhapura and Dambulla. The rooms were really good, very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was amazing, welcoming, and helpful. The basic amenities were excellent, and the breakfast was very tasty, full of local delicious and mostly sweet food.

What a very very good stay, no complaint. Fantastic place for one night and knowledgeable staff. Peaceful location, an easy walk to everywhere. A nice size room & large bathroom. Savoury and large options for breakfast with Sri Lankan specialties and traditional dishes prepared by "My Mama ", for example.

The hotel's location was good and lovely, next to peacock calls filling the air, sigiriya rock which is very cool, and Pidurangala attractions. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Egodawewa.

Really helpful and flexible staff and the place was clean. Absolutely perfect and incredible location - near beautiful forest as well as Sigiriya Cave temple and Lakman. Also, in a new outdoor dining area that should be ready soon. Great choice for trip.

Super clean rooms, jaw-droppingly beautiful garden, mind-blowing home-cooked dinner, EXCELLENT service and helpful staff.

The hotel's location was STUNNING, just next door to Sigiriya and the route to the rock fortress, and a large garden with lots of different plants. Besides, the property was 3 km away from a heritage museum.

Facilities were great, nevertheless Wi-Fi was very poor.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is evident in the nicely decorated rooms, complete with air conditioning that works perfectly. The hotel's location in a beautiful garden adds to the peaceful atmosphere, and the terrace overlooking the garden is a great spot to relax.

No improvements needed, everything was more than satisfactory.

Warm welcome, good breakfast and dinner, spacious and clean rooms, well-maintained property, helpful hosts, organized tours.
